1. Preparation before the test
Before the load test, the Shipbuilding Gantry Crane needs to be fully inspected and prepared. First, check whether the steel structure, mechanical transmission part, electrical system, etc. of the crane are intact, and whether the connection parts are firm and reliable. At the same time, ensure that the safety devices of the crane, such as limiters and brakes, are working properly. In addition, it is necessary to prepare the weights required for the test. The weight of the weights should be selected according to the rated load of the crane, and the mass distribution of the weights should be uniform.
2. No-load test
The no-load test is the first step of the load test. Its purpose is to check the operation of the crane under no-load conditions. In the no-load test, start the crane and make it perform the actions of various mechanisms, such as lifting, lowering, walking, rotating, etc. Observe whether the operation of each mechanism is smooth, whether there is abnormal noise and vibration, and whether each limit device is sensitive and reliable. At the same time, check the working condition of the electrical system, such as whether the start and stop of the motor are normal, and whether the control circuit is accurate.
3. Static load test
The static load test is to load a certain weight of heavy objects on the crane and make it hang still for a period of time to test the structural strength and stability of the crane. In the static load test, the load is usually carried out according to a certain proportion of the rated load of the crane, such as 1.25 times the rated load. After loading, keep the heavy objects hanging still for at least 10 minutes to observe whether the steel structure and various connection parts of the crane are deformed, cracked or other abnormal conditions. At the same time, check whether the brakes of the crane can brake reliably and whether the safety devices are working properly.
4. Dynamic load test
The dynamic load test is to load a certain weight of heavy objects on the crane and make it perform the actions of various mechanisms to test the operating performance of the crane under load. In the dynamic load test, the load is usually carried out according to a certain proportion of the rated load of the crane, such as 1.1 times the rated load. After loading, start the crane and make it perform lifting, lowering, walking, rotating and other actions to observe whether the operation of each mechanism is stable, whether there is abnormal noise and vibration, and whether each limit device is sensitive and reliable. At the same time, check the working condition of the electrical system, such as whether the motor starts and stops normally and whether the control circuit is accurate. The dynamic load test should be carried out several times, and each test time should not be less than 1 hour. Through the above load tests, the performance and safety reliability of the Shipbuilding Gantry Crane can be fully tested, providing guarantee for its official commissioning.
